Skin to Skin

At SapfoFest you will experience an interactive sound installation exploring the relationship between human touch and sound. The installation strategically places speakers, MIDI controllers and copper panels. The installation is introduced by a mediation and demonstration. The installation operates with two roles: one is the "Grounding Artist" and the other/others are the "Notes". By touching the skin of the "Grounded" or vice versa, unique sounds are generated through MIDI controllers and played back through speakers. Participants can experiment in pairs or small groups, clothed or naked, to discover different sounds and rhythms by touching different parts of each other's skin.

Readings "erotica"

I want to celebrate pleasure, I want to delve into its many facets and expressions. One of the expressions of pleasure is erotic literature, reading and listening to it. I invite you to a reading of Liz Asch's YOUR SALT ON MY LIPS: (mostly) queer erotica in a circle. Those who wish will give voice to these passionate stories, giving others the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich literary world of desire and connection. Through compelling narrative and sensual prose, author Liz Asch beautifully weaves together pleasure and eroticism, offering a deep and intimate look at the queer experience. Whoever wants to, will read; whoever wants to, will listen. Let the person who reads excite us.

Performance by Katerina Olivova

Katerina Olivova will bring her fat beautiful queer body to share with you. She works with nudity, sensuality, joy and pleasure, radical body positivity, empowerment, queer body euphoria and collective body experience, and a sexological connection to nature.

Queer readings

Melting in the hot summer minutes, splashing in the lake, hugging sunburnt necks and screaming on stage at a crazy festival. 'Queer Readings' want to hear about your secret summer romance, your inner revolution or your first time (maybe you caught your first fish, maybe...?). We invite you to read your own work or the work of your favourite authors. There are no time or genre restrictions, but if you plan to read a piece longer than 5 minutes, please inform us in advance.
