Queer up your pleasure
A movement and meditation workshop where you will notice your body and experience how pleasure can be *extra* queer.
Pleasure, big or small, is much more accessible with practice than society (or we ourselves) would have us believe. We may think that we have to spend a lot of time and effort on pleasure, and only do it when we deserve it or when it feels good, but the fact is that pleasure is everywhere. And we can use it for empowerment.
You will be invited to listen to a meditation in which you will be able to notice the current state of your body and mind, and then explore what pleasures you can notice around you and within yourself.
Movement is not compulsory in this workshop and any activity is entirely your choice and by invitation only. This time we will not touch intimate parts of the body (genitals), but touching other parts of the body is welcome. Bring any tools, clothing, instruments that can help you explore pleasure and that make you feel good - feel free to be 'weird' in your choices. Also bring blankets, pillows, something to lie on, although this is not necessary.
This practice is inspired by Corine Diachuk.
